STUDI ANALISA OPTIMASI DISTRIBUSI IRIGASI TERHADAP KEBUTUHAN AIR PADA DAERAH IRIGASI KRASAK KAB. PROBOLINGGO
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Water is a natural resource that is crucial for human life, and water issues require in-depth attention. Currently, water users are spread throughout Indonesia. Seventy-five percent of water is used for irrigation, with the remaining 25% for drinking, industrial, and domestic purposes. Irrigation functions to channel water from the source to agricultural land to meet crop needs. Its function not only increases productivity but also maintains stable agricultural yields, reduces the risk of crop failure due to climate uncertainty, and creates optimal soil moisture. This study calculates the optimal irrigation water requirements for agricultural land, ensuring maximum yields can be achieved with limited water availability. The study began with rainfall data obtained from the Wonorejo rainfall station. The data was then analyzed to ensure consistency and usability. The next step was to determine irrigation water requirements by considering cropping patterns. The final step was to use SOLVER to determine optimal results.
