OPTIMALISASI PERENCANAAN POLA TANAM PADA DAERAH IRIGASI BULULAWANG KABUPATEN MALANG

Abstract


Indonesia is an agrarian country that heavily relies on water for agricultural activities. However, uneven irrigation distribution often causes water shortages and decreased land productivity, as seen in Bululawang, Malang Regency. This study aims to maximize profits from available resources, including land, water, and labor. A linear programming approach using the Solver tool in Microsoft Excel was applied to determine the most profitable cropping pattern. The results show that Cropping Pattern Alternative III provides the best outcome, consisting of Rice/Secondary Crops on 252 ha, 185.19 ha, and 119.52 ha. This pattern yields an annual profit of IDR 11,420,086,122 and achieves a land optimization rate of 220.92%. Among the alternatives analyzed, Alternative III is recommended as it offers the highest land-use efficiency and economic return.
