STUDI ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN RUANG PARKIR DI RSUD KARSA HUSADA KOTA BATU
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The disorganized arrangement of parked vehicles is one of the common parking issues, particularly in public facilities such as hospitals. This study was conducted at the parking area of RSUD Karsa Husada in Batu City. The objective of this study is to analyze and determine the parking space requirements at RSUD Karsa Husada. Data were collected through field observation. Based on the analysis, peak hours for motorcycle parking occur between 09:00 and 10:00 AM on both weekdays (Monday) and weekends (Saturday), while peak hours for car parking occur between 10:00 and 11:00 AM on both days. The number of parked motorcycles during peak hours reached 290 on weekdays and 94 on weekends, whereas cars totaled 41 on weekdays and 10 on weekends. The required parking space (RPS) for motorcycles is 319 RPS and for cars is 46 RPS. The existing parking capacity is 180 RPS for motorcycles and 30 RPS for cars. Therefore, additional parking capacity is needed: 139 RPS for motorcycles and 16 RPS for cars. It is recommended to increase parking capacity through the construction of multi-level motorcycle parking and to implement a 90-degree angle parking layout for cars.
