STUDI KOMPARASI QUANTITY TAKE OFF BERBASIS BIM DENGAN METODE KONVENSIONAL TERHADAP EFISIENSI COST ESTIMATION

Abstract


The implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the construction industry has brought a significant transformation in project planning efficiency. This study aims to compare the Quantity Take-Off (QTO) method based on BIM with the conventional method in terms of cost estimation efficiency for the planning project of Kyai Tholhah Hasan Building at Unisma. The study focuses on structural work, including concrete and reinforcement for foundations, beams, columns, and slabs. The research method involves 3D modeling using Autodesk Revit 2024 software to generate BIM-based QTO, while the conventional method is performed manually using Microsoft Excel. The results show that the BIM method yields a cost efficiency of 5.81%, equivalent to savings of IDR 743,960,381.69, with the highest efficiency in beam work (23.17%) and the lowest in columns (0.29%).
