ANALISIS SPASIAL KUALITAS AIR DENGAN METODE STORET DAN INTERPOLASI KRIGING DI KECAMATAN WINONGAN

Abstract


Umbulan Spring serves as a crucial surface water source in Pasuruan Regency. Nevertheless, heavy usage combined with diverse human activities and alterations in the surrounding land cover pose risks to the sustainability of this water source. The quality of the water is a significant concern that requires close monitoring, especially due to uncertainties regarding water quality a nd potential health hazards from pollution. This study focuses on assessing the water quality status and its spatial distribution. The Storet method is utilized to categorize physicochemical water parameters including pH, TDS, nitrite, nitrate, odor, and temperature based on the drinking water standards stipulated in Permenkes RI No.2 of 2023. Spatial distribution is analyzed by applying the Kriging interpolation technique to visualize water quality dispersion. Findings reveal that most water samples are classified as good to very good quality, though certain localized variations warrant particular attention. The spatial distribution patterns derived from this interpolation provide a valuable reference for decision-making on water quality suitability in the study area.
