STUDI PERENCANAAN INSTALASI PENGOLAHAN AIR LIMBAH (IPAL) SENTRA INDUSTRI KECIL SOMBER MENGGUNAKAN TEKNOLOGI ANAEROBIK-AEROBIK BIOFILTER
Abstract
Somber Small Industry Center is located in Batu Ampar Village, North Balikpapan Subdistrict, Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan and has a land area of about 9000 m2. A wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) is required since this small industry center lacks a system for treating liquid waste. The plan's goal is to prevent the resulting liquid waste from being disposed of carelessly right away, which would pollute the environment. Watewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) planning utilizing the anaeobic-aerobic biofiter technology approach. The wasewater discharge generated is 47,214.20 L/day with total working hours for 24 hours per day. Through the results of the Sample Test at the Malang Tirta Services Laboratory, the liquid waste of the Somber Small Industry Center was obtained, namely: BOD of 1,063 mg /L, COD of 3,690 mg/L, TSS of 540 mg/L and pH of liquid waste of 4.1. After going through the process in the equalization tank, anaerobic tank, aerobic tank, and clarifier tank, the effluent produced was BOD 28.07 mg/L, COD 99.63 mg/L, TSS 4.86 mg/L, and pH 7. And estimated construction cost is is Rp 216.824.388,17.-
