STUDI PERENCANAAN TEKNOLOGI CONSTRUCTED WETLAND DALAM PENGOLAHAN GREYWATER

Abstract


Almost all settlements in Indonesia, especially in the city of Malang, dispose waste from washing, bathing, and kitchen activities directly into the water bodies without being processed first. In the long term, the results of this cause odor and cause various diseases. Before wastewater is discharged into water bodies, or reused for irrigation purposes, the waste water needs to be collected and treated. Constructed Wetlands are a wastewater treatment technology. Constructed Wetlands offer up to 97% TTS removal efficiency, are odorless, and can be displayed as aesthetically pleasing gardens.
