STUDI PERENCANAAN INSTALASI PENGOLAHAN AIR LIMBAH KOMUNAL DENGAN SISTEM BIOFILTER ANAEROB-AEROB DI PERUMAHAN DE CASSABLANCA RESIDENCE CEMOROKANDANG KOTA MALANG

Abstract


De Cassablanca Residence, located in Malang City, does not yet have a domestic wastewater treatment system. Therefore, a communal Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is planned using an anaerobic-aerobic biofilter method. This design aims to reduce environmental pollution caused by the discharge of untreated wastewater. Laboratory tests show that the wastewater contains BOD of 275,90 mg/L, COD of 314,62 mg/L, TSS of 200,80 mg/L and Oil/Fat of 23,0 mg/L, all of which exceed the limits set by East Java Governor Regulation No. 72 of 2013. The wastewater flow rate is 199,2 m3/day. The WWTP units include a Primary Sedimentation Tank, Anaerobic Tank, Aerobic Tank, and Clarifier Tank, each sized according to design requirements. The total estimated cost for constructing the system is Rp.666.397.457,66,-
