STUDI EVALUASI SALURAN DRAINASE DI KECAMATAN KRAKSAAN KABUPATEN PROBOLINGGO

Abstract


District Kraksaan is one of the areas that often experiences flooding in Probolinggo Regency. When the rainy season arrives, and rain falls with high intensity, the road will experience flooding. This happens because of the overflow of drainage water caused by inadequate water channels and also many narrowed drainage channels. Drainage system planning to evaluate existing drainage channels, namely by increasing the volume of channels or adding new channels that can accommodate rainwater channels to the maximum. Calculation of rainfall using the Algebraic average method The calculation of the design rainfall height using in this study uses the rational method with the ArcGis 10.8 application and the Log Pearson III method and the design rainfall results are 161,510 mm/day with a return period of 5 years. The results of the calculation of the drainage channel capacity in Kraksaan District are that out of 52 channels evaluated, there are 16 channels that are unable to accommodate the design discharge and need to be repaired, namely East Krajan (1B), North Pengadangan channel (2), East Yos Sudarso channel (2A), Sahara channel (2B), etc
