STUDI EVALUASI SALURAN DRAINASE DIKAWASAN PEMECUTAN KELOD KECAMATAN DENPASAR BARAT DALAM MENGATASI BANJIR DAN GENANGAN

ABSTRACT
Pemecutan Kelod Village, situated in West Denpasar, faces seasonal flooding due to drainage channel overflow amidst high population density. To address this issue, a study was conducted to analyze the capacity of the drainage channels and determine if they can handle the design discharge. The RAPS method calculated average rainfall, while Log Person Type III determined the 10-year design rainfall of 171.4723 mm. The analysis revealed that 29 out of the 74 channels examined were incapable of handling the design discharge.For instance, Gg Buntu Kr channel, originally 0.4 m wide and 0.55 m high, was adjusted to 0.4 m wide and 0.80 m high. This study underscores the need to enhance Pemecutan Kelod's drainage system to prevent flooding.
