STUDI ANALISIS ANGKUTAN SEDIMEN PADA SUNGAI KUNCIR KECAMATAN NGETOS KABUPATEN NGANJUK
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Waters in Indonesia have an area and length ranging from the eastern tip to the western tip. The number of River Basins (DAS) in Indonesia is 5,950. This study aims to analyze the transport of bed sediment (bed load) in the Kuncir River, with a focus on the measurement and characteristics of sediment particle movement. The method used in this study includes sediment sampling. The results showed that the speed of bed formation shifts significantly affects sediment transport, which is influenced by the characteristics of particles, fluids, and types of flow. In this study, by calculating sediment characteristics, sediment specific gravity, sediment grains which were then applied using the HEC-RAS application. The Kuncir River has an average current speed of 2,589 - 2,684 m / s. From the results of this speed, the amount of river discharge can be determined. Sediment characteristics are known through sediment grain analysis. The Meyer-Peter Muller formula is used to calculate the sediment transport value.
