STUDI EVALUASI OPERASI WADUK WADASLINTANG UNTUK KEBUTUHAN AIR IRIGASI DI KECAMATAN WADASLINTANG KABUPATEN WONOSOBO

Abstract


ABSTRACT

Water is an essential need for all living beings in the world. Humans require water for various daily activities, such as washing and others. One of the steps that can be taken at this time is to optimize existing reservoirs or water storage facilities. One way to achieve this is by managing irrigation operations effectively. Waduk Wadaslintang is located at coordinates 7° 26' 32" S – 7° 37' 23" S and 109° 44' 16.92" E – 109° 55' 54" E, about 17 km north of Kota Prembun. Consistency testing can be performed using the RAPS (Rescaled Adjusted Partial Sums) method. This method is used to calculate the cumulative deviation values from the average (mean) to determine whether the distribution used in the design rainfall calculation is accepted or not. Additionally, a goodness of fit test is conducted, using the Chi-Square Test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test. The data for calculating potential evapotranspiration in this study uses the Penman method. Irrigation water requirement is the amount of water needed to meet the plant's needs during its growth period, including maintaining soil moisture, replacing water lost due to evaporation and transpiration (evapotranspiration), as well as considering other factors such as water loss due to percolation, drainage flow, and irrigation system efficiency. The average irrigation water requirement for rice and secondary crops per year is 3.25 m³/second, with the highest water availability of 6.831 m³/second in March.
