STUDI SISTEM PENGEMBANGAN DISTRIBUSI AIR BERSIH DI DESA TAMPO MAKALE KECAMATAN MAKALE KABUPATEN TANA TORAJA

Abstract


ABSTRACT

Management of clean water for human needs cannot be separated from meeting individual and group needs. The distribution of clean water in rural, urban and metropolitan areas requires water availability that must be met with standards of quality, quantity and continuity that are good for the community. The need for the provision and service of clean water is increasing and sometimes we don't get good service. One area that still has difficulty getting clean water is Tampo Makale Village, Makale District, Tana Toraja Regency. The aim of this research is expected to provide an alternative/solution in solving clean water problems, especially for the Tampo Makale Village area, Makale District, Tana Toraja Regency. The data required for this study is the population for the last 5 years, PDAM customers, clean water needs, clean water source data and reservoir volume, as well as clean water distribution network map data, using the arithmetic method. The clean water distribution network map will be evaluated using WaterCad V8i software. The results of this research are the projection of the population in Tampo Makale Village, Makale District in 2033 is 6923 people. The average amount of clean water needed in Tampo Makale Village, Makale District is Existing (2023) is 7,210, while for development (2033), the average amount of water needed is 9,230 lt/s. An effective clean water distribution network for the Tampo Makale Village area, Makale District, based on the simulation results of the WaterCad V8i program for developing a clean water distribution network system in Tampo Makale Village, alternative 2 is used, namely a 150 mm diameter pipe.
