EVALUASI DAN PERENCANAAN PENGEMBANGAN JARINGAN DISTRIBUSI AIR BERSIH DI DESA KARANGJATI KECAMATAN PANDAAN KABUPATEN PASURUAN

Abstract

The need for clean water, both in urban and rural areas, increases every year. This is in line with the increase in population which results in increased demand for water. One area that still has difficulty getting clean water is Karangjati Village, Pandaan District, Pasuruan Regency, East Java Province. The aim of this research is expected to provide alternatives/solutions in solving clean water problems, especially for the Karangjati Village area. The data required for this study is the population for the last 10 years, PDAM customers, clean water needs, clean water source data and reservoir volume, as well as clean water distribution network map data, using the arithmetic method. The clean water distribution network map will be evaluated using EPAnet software. The results of this research are that the population of Karangjati Village, Pandaan District in 2023 will be 9101 people and projections of the number of residents and customers for the next 10 years show that the population will increase to 12532 people. Water use in the development plan year is 2023 with an average daily requirement of 15,168 lt/sec, maximum daily requirement of 11,376 lt/sec, maximum daily requirement of 13,083 lt/sec, and peak hour demand of 17,064 lt/sec. Meanwhile, in 2033 water demand will increase, with an average daily demand of 15,666 lt/second, a maximum daily demand of 18,015 lt/second, and a peak hour demand of 27,023 lt/second.
