PENGARUH KEKUATAN BATU MORAMO CAMPURAN HOTMIX ASPHALT CONCRETE – BINDER COURSE (AC-BC) DI KABUPATEN KONAWE SELATAN

ABSTRACT

Moramo stone is a stone located in South Konawe district, Southeast Sulawesi Province, one of the materials used for hotmix asphalt mixtures using moramo stone is expected to improve the quality of hotmix asphalt structures, asphalt concrete - binder course (AC-BC) to obtain the gradation that is required. From this description the authors conducted research on the surface layer of asphalt hotmix, asphalt concrete - binder course (AC-BC) using moramo stone. for the use of moramo stone there is no application for this type of asphalt concrete - binder course (AC-BC), the method used is the marshall method with the 2018 bina marga specifications, aggregate testing meets the required specifications and asphalt testing meets the 2018 bina marga specifications, from 5 variations of asphalt content 4.5%, 5.0%, 5.5%, 6.0% and 6.5% got the optimum asphalt content of 5.41%1. The amount of moramo stone mixture composition to aggregate with asphalt content, Aggregate 10-20 with a value of 33.50%, Aggregate 5-10 has a value of 30.00%, and aggregate 0-5 has a value of 34.50%. 2. The optimum asphalt content (KAO) value in this study is 5.41%. 3. Moramo stone meets the 2018 general specifications for road and bridge work, as an aggregate where in this study using aggregate sizes 10-20, 5-10 & 0-5 for asphalt type AC-BC (Asphalt concrete - binder course) against the marshall characteristics of 2018 bina marga specifications.
