Abstract

Parking Space Area (KRP) at the Islamic University of Malang, especially for education center, need to be reviewed in order to find out whether their availability has met. This study method begins with conducting literature studies, preliminary surveys, data collection, and conducting data analysis and discussion so that the actual KRP is obtained at each parking location. The actual KRP is compared with the standard KRP applied by the Malang City Government and then modeled. The results of this study obtained parking characteristics so that the KRP of the back of the campus that must be provided is equal to 24516 SRP. Comparison of actual KRP for each effective area with a standard KRP applied in Malang City, which is 2700 m2/SRP (actual KRP). This indicates that the actual KRP is close to the provisions, so the parking provisions need to be reviewed.
