KAJIAN PERENCANAAN TEKNIS PEMBANGUNAN SALURAN IRIGASI DI KECAMATAN BALONGBENDO SIDOARJO

Abstract


Delta Brantas Irrigation Area Krembung Secondary Channel is an irrigation area located in Sidoarjo Regency, East Java with an area of 649 Ha of rice fields. From previous observations, the initial planting of DI. Delta Brantas Krembung Secondary Channel starts from early November with rice, secondary crops and sugar cane. However, not the entire area can be planted to its full potential. The arrangement of cropping patterns that are less than optimal is the main factor that causes all agricultural land in DI. Delta Brantas Krembung Secondary
Channel cannot be planted evenly. Therefore, one of the efforts that can be done at this time is optimizing the provision of irrigation water by optimizing irrigation discharge by trying three alternative cropping patterns and the benefits obtained from the results of optimizing the availability of discharge, and setting the floodgate height according to the available discharge. For this analysis using a linear program with the Solver program from Microsoft Excel. The purpose of this study was to obtain the best cropping pattern and setting the right floodgate
height according to the amount of available discharge. So that the distribution of irrigation water discharge available in the Irrigation Area can be carried out optimally. From the results of the research in the Krembung Irrigation Area by experimenting with 3 alternative cropping patterns, it was found that in the Krembung Irrigation Area, the alternative Cropping Pattern I was rice/sugarcane – rice/palawija/sugarcane – palawija with a profit of Rp. 110,019,604,000,-. As well as the height of the door opening on the irrigation network according
to the alternative cropping pattern I for the first planting season on the Bkg channel. 3.ka. with an opening height of 0.216 m, planting season II with an opening height of 0.318 m, planting season III with an opening height of
0.286 m. Thus, every irrigation area should be optimized, that is, it can optimize the available water flow with the  best alternative cropping pattern and pay attention to the height of the door opening in accordance with the available discharge.
