PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN DEDAK RUMPUT LAUT ORGANIK TERHADAP INCOME OVER FEED COST (IOFC) DAN NILAI EKONOMIS PAKAN AYAM PETELUR
Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menilai efektivitas pengguaan dedak rumput laut organic sebagai pengganti Sebagian dedak komersial dalam ransum ayam petelur berdasarkan parameter Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC) dan nilai ekonomis pakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancang Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan yaitu dedak rumput laut organik sebesar P0 (0%), P1 (5%), P2 (10%), P3 (15%) masing-masing terdiri atas 4 ulangan. Variable yang diamati meliputi IOFC dan Nilai Ekonomis Pakan. Data dianalisis menggunakan (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan apabila terdapat perbedaan nyata. Hasil peelitian menunjjukan bahwa penggunaan dedak rumput laut organik berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap IOFC dan nilai ekonomis pakan. Perlakuan P2 (10%) menghasilkan nilai IOFC tertinggi Rp10.068,50, serta nilai ekonomis pakan terendah sebesar Rp15.931,75/kg telur, yang menunjukkan efisiensi ekonomi disbandingkan perlakuan lainnya, sebaliknya penggunaan dedak rumput laut sebanyak 15% menurunkan efisiensi ekonomi dengan nilai IOFC terrendah serta biaya pakan per kilo gram telur terlalu tinggi. Dengan demikian penggunaan dedak rumput laut organik sebanyak 10% dalam ansum dapat direkomendasikan sebagai bahan pakan alternatif yang mampu meningkatkan efisiensi ekonomi usaha peternakan ras ayam petelur.

ECONOMIC EVALUATION OF ORGANIC SEAWEED BRAN INCLUSION IN DIETSOF LAYING HENS BASED ON INCOME OVER FEED COST AND FEED COST PER KILOGRAM OF EGG PRODUCTION
Abstract
This experiment was performed to evaluate the effect of organic seaweed bran as a partial substitute for rice brab in layer diets on Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC), and Feed Economic Value. A completely randomized design (CRD) was employed with four dietary treatments consisting of (P0) 0%, (P1) 5%, (P2) 10%, (P3) 15% organic seaweed bran inclusion levels, each with four replications. The observed variabels were IOFC and Feed cost per kilogram of egg produced. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test when significant differences were detected. The results demonstrated that dietary inclusion of organic seaweed bran significantly affected (P<0,05) both IOFC and feed economic value The P2 treatment (10% organic seaweed bran) produced the highest IOFC (IDR 10,068.50) and the lowest feed cost per kilogram of eggs (IDR 15,931.75). indicating the best economic efficiency among all treatments in contrast, the 15% inclusion level reduced economic efficiency, as indicated by the lowest IOFC and highest feed cost per kilogram of eggs. Therefore incorporating 10% organic seaweed bran into layers diet can be recommended as an alternative feed ingredient to improve the economic efficiency of commercial layer productions.
