PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN PUCUK DAUN KELOR (Moringa oleifera) DENGAN ADITIF ENZIM NON-STARCH POLYSACCHARIDASE TERHADAP FCR DAN IOFC PADA PUYUH

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) dan penambahan enzim non-starch polysaccharidase (NSP) terhadap nilai Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) dan Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC) pada puyuh. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 45 hari di Desa Pajaran, Kecamatan Poncokusumo, Kabupaten Malang. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial (RALF) dengan dua faktor, yaitu taraf penggunaan daun kelor (tanpa kelor, kelor utuh, dan pucuk daun kelor) serta taraf penggunaan enzim NSP (0; 25.000; dan 50.000 unit/g pakan). Parameter yang diamati meliputi nilai FCR dan IOFC. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis varians (ANOVA). Selanjutnya, jika hasil menunjukkan adanya perbedaan nyata, dilakukan uji lanjut Duncan untuk membandingkan perlakuan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan daun kelor dan enzim NSP bekerja secara independen, sehingga tidak ditemukan efek interaksi terhadap FCR maupun IOFC. Penggunaan daun kelor berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap peningkatan nilai FCR dan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap penurunan nilai IOFC. Penggunaan daun kelor utuh meningkatkan nilai FCR dan menurunkan nilai IOFC, sedangkan penggunaan pucuk daun kelor menghasilkan nilai FCR dan IOFC yang tidak berbeda nyata dibandingkan pakan basal. Penambahan enzim NSP mampu menurunkan nilai FCR dan meningkatkan nilai IOFC. Nilai IOFC tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan pucuk daun kelor dengan penambahan enzim NSP dosis 50.000 unit sebesar Rp2.755,41, lebih tinggi dibandingkan pakan basal. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pucuk daun kelor dengan penambahan enzim NSP berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan pakan dan keuntungan usaha ternak puyuh.

EFFECT OF MORINGA (Moringa oleifera) LEAF SHOOT SUPPLEMENTATION WITH NON-STARCH POLYSACCHARIDASE ENZYME ADDITIVES ON FCR AND IOFC IN QUAIL
ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine the effect of Moringa oleifera leaf utilization and the supplementation of non-starch polysaccharidase (NSP) enzyme on Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) and Income Over Feed Cost (IOFC) in quails. The study was conducted for 45 days in Pajaran Village, Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency. The experimental design used was a Completely Randomized Factorial Design (CRFD) with two factors, namely the level of moringa leaf utilization (without moringa leaves, whole moringa leaves, and moringa leaf shoots) and the level of NSP enzyme supplementation (0; 25,000; and 50,000 units/g feed). The observed parameters included FCR and IOFC values. The data were subjected to analysis of variance (ANOVA). When significant differences among treatments were observed, Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) was employed for further comparison of treatment means. The results indicated that the Moringa leaf treatment and NSP enzyme supplementation acted independently, with no interaction effect observed on either FCR or IOFC. The use of moringa leaves had a highly significant effect (P<0.01) on increasing FCR values and a significant effect (P<0.05) on decreasing IOFC values. The use of whole moringa leaves increased FCR values and decreased IOFC values, while the use of moringa leaf shoots resulted in FCR and IOFC values that were not significantly different from the basal feed. NSP enzyme supplementation was able to decrease FCR values and increase IOFC values. The highest IOFC value was obtained in the treatment using moringa leaf shoots supplemented with 50,000 units of NSP enzyme, amounting to IDR 2,755.41, which was higher than the basal feed treatment. It can be concluded that the use of moringa leaf shoots with NSP enzyme supplementation has the potential to improve feed efficiency and increase the profitability of quail farming.
