Childhood is a period where they very easily capture from what they see and hear. So, it is appropriate for a teacher to set a good example, especially for students and instill good character and praise from an early age. And from this statement, the authors focus on several issues, including : (1) What is the character of students and how is the teacher's role in building student character; (2) In this case, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Banjarejo Ngariboyo became one of the places that the authors took to carry out research activities; (3) This type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the moral creed teacher, grade 5 students, and the principal of the Madrasah Ibtida'iyah Banjarejo Ngariboyo school. The object under study is the Role of the Islamic Moral Teachers in building the character of 5th grade students in the Madrasah Ibtida'iyah Banjarejo Ngariboyo Magetan Regency, East Java. The method used in data collection is the method of interview, observation and documentation.; and (4) The results of the study stated that the role of the 5th grade morality teacher in Madrasah Ibtida'iyah Banjarejo Ngariboyo had carried out his duties as a teacher namely as a Guide, Motivator, and role model for students. In the formation of character in students it was necessary the close cooperation of educators and all Madrasah stakeholders .
