Character is most important one for the human to create the god life. But, in this era the character of the students be worst and influence to religious side of the students. So, as the teacher who teachs about the religion has important role to handle the problem it’s need to creat the education of the character of the student based on the religion. The goal og this skripsi is to know the character of the students, roles the way and founding of the teacher. And some elements that influence in creating the character base on the religy. This thesis use the kualitatif approach to understand the tema for the specific context the accumulation of the data by the interview, ofservation and the documentation. The data that has collected is analyzed continually to get the best result. In checking the validaty of the data of credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. Result of the research show the sitiation of the students in the junior hight school of wahid hasyim malang have good character generally. But, it’s still needed special treatment for some students. Such as a little understanding of students of wahid hasyim malang have been taking well from the commite. The way to creat the character of the students by the religy education is enough effective. The role of the teacher who teach the subject of religion as a guide, mentor and model. The role founding of the teacher are guide, and control the religy activity in the school.
