INTERNALISASI NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI KEGIATAN EKSTRAKURIKULER (STUDI KASUS DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS ISLAM ALMAARIF SINGOSARI MALANG)

Abstract


Internalization of Islamic religious education values and character formation can not only be done in Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) in the field of Islamic Education studies, but also through other fields of study as well as activities outside the classroom, such as extracurricular activities. Extracurricular activities are one of the activities that have a considerable role in internalizing Islamic religious education values and also shape the character of students through various activities that are in each extracurricular. This research was conducted at the Singosari Almaarif Islamic High School in Malang. Thishstudyhuseshahqualitativehresearch approach with a type of case studyhresearch. The results of the study indicatehthat Islamic religious education values are internalized to students, consisting of 1) aqidah values; 2) sharia value; and 3) moral values. The process of internalizing Islamic religious education values through three stages, namely 1) the value transformation stage; 2) value transaction stage; and 3) the value internalization stage. The character of students formed after internalized Islamic religious education values, including 1) religious; 2) discipline; 3) hard work; 4) communicative; 5) care for the environment; 6) social care; and 7) responsibility.
