PERENCANAAN STRATEGI GURU AKIDAH AKHLAK DALAM MEMBENTUK KEDISIPLINAN SISWA DI MTs IHYAUL ULUM DUKUN ANYAR KABUPATEN GRESIK

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors of the strategies employed by Aqidah Akhlaq teachers in fostering student discipline at MTs Ihyaul Ulum Dukun Anyar, Gresik Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a field research design. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation, with research subjects consisting of Aqidah Akhlaq teachers, guidance and counseling teachers, the vice principal for student affairs, and the school principal. The results show that the planning of strategies is carried out systematically through stages of formulation by the Aqidah Akhlaq teacher, consideration by the guidance and counseling teacher, alignment by the vice principal for student affairs with school regulations, and verification by the principal. The implementation of disciplinary development strategies is conducted through three main approaches: behavioristic, humanistic, and social learning. The behavioristic approach is realized through habituation, positive and negative reinforcement, and educational consequences. The humanistic approach is applied through persuasive and dialogical strategies, while the social learning approach is implemented through role modeling. Supporting factors include students’ awareness, collaboration with parents, the use of student personality records, and consistency in guidance. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include the lack of awareness among some students, peer influence, low learning motivation, and procrastination habits. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the strategies employed by Aqidah Akhlaq teachers in fostering student discipline have been systematically planned and implemented in an integrated manner, although some challenges remain.
