The problem faced is the lack of moral education in students. This study aims to determine the implementation of character education in particular the value of responsibility. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with interview, observation and documentation methods. Research subjects were Students, Teachers and Principals. The results of the study indicate that the cultivation of the value of character responsibility has been carried out by the teacher. but the application of the value of student responsibility has not been carried out maximally because there are still some of the students who ignore their obligations.
