PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBASIS LKPD WIZER.ME TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAMDI SMA BRAWIJAYA SMART SCHOOL MALANG

Abstract


This study was motivated by the learning process of Islamic Religious Education, which still relies on conventional methods such as lectures, discussions, and memorization, leaving the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) underutilized. This study aims to analyze students’ conditions before and after learning, examine the effect of PBL integrated with Wizer.me-based worksheets (LKPD), and measure its impact on students at SMA Brawijaya Smart School Malang. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. A total of 70 tenth-grade students participated, divided into class X-1 (35 students) as the experimental group and class X-2 (35 students) as the control group. The experimental group received PBL with Wizer.me-based LKPD, while the control group followed conventional learning. Data were collected through essay tests and analyzed using normality and homogeneity tests, independent sample t-test, and effect size. Pretest results showed averages of 74.44 for the experimental group and 72.63 for the control group, indicating similar starting points. After treatment, the experimental group’s average rose to 85.00, while the control group reached 81.36. The independent sample t-test yielded Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.007 < 0.05, showing a significant difference between groups. The effect size calculation produced Cohen’s d = 0.951 (high category), confirming a strong impact. Therefore, PBL integrated with Wizer.me-based LKPD effectively enhances students’ problem-solving skills and provides an innovative approach to Islamic Religious Education.
