PERAN GURU DALAM PROGRAM PEMBINAAN SYARAT KECAKAPAN UBUDIYAH (SKU) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KARAKTER DISIPLIN BERAGAMA PESERTA DIDIK DI SMP ISLAM ALMAARIF 01 SINGOSARI MALANG

Abstract


The influence of technology and the environment often causes student to drift away from good worship habits. A modern lifestyle and free association have begun to affect students’ mindset and behavior, especially in terms of discipline In whorship. This study aims to determine how the Syarat Kecakapan Ubudiyah (SKU) program at SMP  Islam Almaarif 01 SIngosari Malang can shape students’ religious discipline, covering program planning, implementation process and the result achieved. The method used in writing this thesis is qualitative with a descriptive approach. data were obtained through interviews,observations, and documentation, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s model, which consist of data reduction, data display, and condclusion drawing. The validity of the data was examined through source and technique triangulation. The research result show that program planning is carried out in a structured manner by setting objectives, targets, and coaching materials. The strategies used by teachers include role modeling, habituation, teaching methodology, and providing recognition and rewards. The Syarat Kecakapan Ubudiyah coaching program has a positive impact in the form of increased discipline, faith and piety, improved quality of students worship and the formation of behavior in accordance with moral values in daily life. Based on the research findings, it is proven that the optimal role of teachers in the Syarat Kecakapan Ubudiyah coaching program is able to instill religious values and build sustainable religious discipline both in the scholl environtmen and in daily life.
