IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM KEAGAMAAN DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER KESADARAN SOSIAL SISWA-SISWI SMK NEGERI 4 MALANG

Abstract


This study examines the implementation of religious programs in shaping the social awareness character of students at SMK Negeri 4 Malang. The research is motivated by a concerning trend of declining social awareness among students, often attributed to excessive gadget use and a lack of empathy, contrasting sharply with the positive social character observed at SMK Negeri 4 Malang. The primary questions addressed are the planning, execution, and evaluation processes of these religious programs. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, this research aims to provide an in- depth understanding of how these programs are carried out and their impact on student character development. Key findings reveal that the programs are characterized by collaborative planning, consistent and diverse implementation, and thorough, participatory evaluation. These elements collectively contribute to effectively fostering crucial social awareness traits such as discipline, empathy, cooperation, and a strong sense of responsibility among students, thereby demonstrating a successful model for character building theough religious activities.
