Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Block System  learning approach focused on the Fiqh subject and to analyze its impact on students' learning outcomes at MTs NU Pakis, Malang Regency. The Block System  is a learning approach that intensively concentrates learning time on a single subject for an extended period, allowing students to focus more deeply on understanding the material. In the context of Fiqh, this approach is essential as the subject requires not only theoretical understanding but also practical and affective comprehension. This research employs a qualitative descriptive case study method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects include the school principal, Fiqh teachers, and students. Data were analyzed through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that planning was carried out systematically through the development of teaching modules and student worksheets adapted to the extended learning duration. The implementation process was conducted intensively using various methods such as discussions, religious practice activities, and project-based learning, which encouraged active student engagement. The learning outcomes indicated improvements in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, along with more religious and responsible behavior. Thus, the Block System  has proven effective in enhancing the quality of student learning outcomes, particularly in the Fiqh subject.
