PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER DISIPLIN SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PAI DI SMP NEGERI 2 LAWANG
Abstract
This study aims to determine the strategies used by teachers to foster student discipline during Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMP Negeri 2 Lawang. Specifically, in terms of discipline, both in obeying regulations and carrying out orders or activities. Discipline in PAI learning is also needed, because the material presented discusses positive values that can be practiced or emulated. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, focusing on the strategies used by teachers to foster student discipline and its development outcomes. In collecting data, researchers used observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The research findings indicate that the strategies used by teachers are role-playing in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, incorporating direct practice, familiarizing students with routine school activities, and guiding students to develop discipline in complying with applicable rules. Regulations that exist in religion, the school environment, family, and society.
