STRATEGI PROGRAM HAFALAN AL-QUR’AN DI PUSAT KEGIATAN BELAJAR MASYARAKAT FARIHUL QOLBI JUNREJO BATU
Abstract
Memorizing the Qur’an is not merely an act of worship, but also a means of preserving the divine revelation of Allah. In line with the times, various institutions—including non-formal educational centers—have continued to develop Qur’anic memorization programs. One such institution is the Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Farihul Qolbi (Farihul Qolbi Community Learning Center) located in Batu City, which runs a flagship program called the Post-TPQ Tahfidz Program (PTPT). This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the students' memorization abilities vary, yet are generally good, as seen in their fluency, accuracy, and retention. The strategies applied include individual strategies (such as talaqqi and tadarus) and collaborative strategies (such as simaan and group muraja’ah). Key supporting factors include a conducive learning environment, the involvement of teachers and parents, and regular Qur’an reading habits. Meanwhile, the main obstacles are differences in memorization ability and a lack of consistency in muraja’ah among some students. The study concludes that classified and consistently implemented memorization strategies can enhance students’ memorization outcomes. It is recommended that the institution strengthen its coaching system, encourage greater parental involvement, and reinforce muraja’ah discipline to support the success of the memorization program.
