IMPLEMENTASI KEGIATAN KEAGAMAAN SEBAGAI UPAYA PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS SISWA DI SMP NEGERI 5 LAWANG SATU ATAP
Abstract
The issue of adolescent moral degradation due to the negative influence of social media and the weak development of religious character in schools has become a significant focus in the world of education. SMP Negeri 5 Lawang Satu Atap addresses this challenge by implementing structured religious activities as a strategy for developing students' religious character. This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and outcomes of religious activities in shaping students' religious character.Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that consistently designed and implemented religious activities have a positive impact on the development of students' religious attitudes, characterized by increased discipline in worship, the practice of spiritual values in daily life, and growing social awareness. These findings confirm that a religiosity-based school culture is effective in shaping students' character holistically.
