STRATEGI GURU DALAM MENANAMKAN NILAI-NILAI ISLAM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEDISIPLINAN SISWA DI MTs RAUDLATUL ULUM KARANGPLOSO MALANG
Abstract
This study explores the strategies implemented by teachers at MTs Raudlatul Ulum Karangploso in instilling Islamic values to improve student discipline. Grounded in a qualitative approach, the research investigates the integration of Islamic principles into both the formal curriculum and daily school routines. The study focuses on how these strategies are formulated, implemented, and evaluated by teachers through methods such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Key strategies identified include integrating Islamic values into all subjects, morning religious routines (such as Duha prayer, Qur’an reading, and dhikr), a balanced reward and punishment system, and individualized instruction based on students’ capabilities. The findings indicate that these strategies have significantly enhanced student discipline, evident in improved punctuality, task completion, and active participation in religious and social activities. Furthermore, the study reveals that the impact extends beyond school, with students becoming role models in their communities. This research contributes to the discourse on Islamic education by demonstrating that integrated and collaborative strategies effectively cultivate discipline and moral character among students in Islamic educational institutions.
