PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN CANVA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS 7 DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PAI DAN BUDI PEKERTI DI SMP NEGERI 30 MALANG

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic Education (PAI) through the use of Canva as a learning media. The research was conducted in two cycles, beginning with a pre-cycle phase that revealed low student achievement, with only 45.45% of students meeting the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). Several factors contributed to this issue, including a lack of teacher creativity, low student motivation, and the limited use of engaging learning media. In the first cycle, the implementation of Canva led to a slight improvement, with 51.52% of students achieving the KKM. However, challenges remained, prompting refinements in the second cycle. These adjustments resulted in a significant increase in student achievement, with 81.81% of students meeting the KKM. The findings indicate that Canva, as an interactive and visually appealing tool, can effectively enhance student interest, motivation, and learning outcomes in PAI. The study concludes that Canva is a valuable alternative for digital-era learning media, especially in religious education contexts.
