Abstract

This research aims to determine the values of Multicultural Islamic Religious Education contained in the Bidayatul Hidayah book and the relevance of the values of Multicultural Islamic Religious Education in the Bidayatul Hidayah book to students in the Digital Era that the importance of Multicultural Islamic Religious Education in this digital era, where in this era there is great concern about the lack of Islamic religious values in students. In this case, Imam Al-Ghazali has taught us through the Bidayatul Hidayah book that he has compiled. The book explains and examines Islamic religious education. And his thoughts are really worth studying because this will certainly be very beneficial for students in the current era. This type of research is library research, which is descriptive qualitative using the content analysis method. The results of this study are the values of multicultural Islamic religious education in the Bidayatul Hidayah book have holistic multicultural Islamic religious education values, namely the values of tolerance, equality, pluralism and democracy.  The relevance of developing multicultural awareness, building tolerance and empathy, developing good communication skills, increasing awareness of the importance of ethics and morals, and building harmonious relationships.
