PERAN GURU DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM UNTUK MENGANTISIPASI KESULITAN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X DI MA AL-MAARIF SINGOSARI KABUPATEN MALANG

Abstract


This study discusses the role of teachers in learning Islamic Cultural History (ISH) to overcome learning difficulties of class X students at MA Al-Ma'arif Singosari, Malang Regency. Students' learning difficulties are caused by various factors, both internal such as low interest in learning and limited memory, and external such as less varied learning methods. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with interview, observation, and data analysis methods. The results of the study indicate that teachers have an important role in implementing learning strategies based on a scientific approach, the use of interactive media, and group discussion and presentation methods. In addition, evaluations conducted through oral assessments, giving additional points, and remedial programs have been proven to help improve students' understanding. The conclusion of the study confirms that innovative strategies and diverse approaches in ISH learning can improve the quality of students' learning and their appreciation of the history of Islamic civilization.
