INTERNALISASI NILAI-NILAI KEARIFAN LOKAL DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PAI DI SMPN 5 SUMBERMANJING WETAN

Abstract

This research is motivated by the local wisdom that exists around SMP 5 Sumbermanjing Wetan. Where one day the next generation of the nation can preserve the culture that has existed since ancient times. so it is very important for teachers and schools to introduce various local wisdoms that exist. Islamic religious education combined with local wisdom values at SMP 5 Sumbermanjing Wetan is very important to shape the character, morals, and cultural identity of students. They not only understand and internalize the values of local wisdom, but also build solidarity, tolerance, environmental awareness, and creativity in accordance with the teachings of Islam. Combining the principles of wisdom The internalization process is highly dependent on the application of local culture in the curriculum, the application of learning materials based on local wisdom, the use of local learning resources, and extracurricular activities that focus on local culture. The internalization process depends on the incorporation of local wisdom principles into the curriculum, the use of learning materials based on local wisdom, and extracurricular activities that focus on local culture. In the midst of globalization, strengthening local religious and cultural identities is the main focus for the principal and teachers of SMP 5 Sumbermanjing Wetan. By using methods such as curriculum development based on local wisdom, extracurricular activities, cooperation with external parties, use of media and technology, and instilling an attitude of tolerance and cooperation to protect the environment. The techniques used for data collection include observation, interviews, and documentation. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, teacher, parent, and student interview sheets. The results of the study show that 1) the principal's and teacher's understanding of local wisdom is that the school applies or integrates local wisdom in the local environment in its learning process 2) the form of local wisdom is carried out through the integration of local wisdom into learning and extracurricular activities such as arts and culture learning and flying/banjari extracurricular activities 3) the implementation of local wisdom carried out by the school is by implementing various local wisdom activities in school life such as mutual cooperation, commemorating Islamic days, etc. This study can also be used as an example for the implementation of further learning processes. In addition, the results of this study can be used as an example of how formal educational institutions can optimize the internalization of PAI in values.
