Abstract

Physiologically and psychologically, there are impacts due to poor quality of human sleep, namely: feeling tired, decreasing our body's endurance, and getting tired in carrying out daily activities. This creates problems with human memory and student concentration, for example not focusing or concentrating on studying. This research aims to describe the level of students' sleep quality, the level of students' Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes and measure the influence of students' sleep quality on Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes. This research method uses a correlational quantitative research approach. This research examines the influence of sleep quality (X) on Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes (Y). Sleep disorders were quite common among some respondents. Almost all respondents (97.5%) never used sleeping pills, with only 1 person using them once a week. Based on correlation analysis, there is a negative correlation between sleep quality and learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient value of -0.310, which is close to significant (p0.052). This suggests that the worse the sleep quality, the learning outcomes tend to decrease, although this relationship did not reach a strong level of statistical significance. The learning outcomes of PAI students at SMP NU Al-Hikmah Tumpang Jeru are not significantly impacted by their sleep quality. With a correlation coefficient value of -0.310, which is nearly significant, the correlation analysis indicates a negative relationship between learning outcomes and sleep quality (p0,052). Although this assocition does not reach a strong degree of statistical significance, it suggests that learning results are more likely to diminish the lower the quality of sleep is On the other hand, according to regression results, tidur quality contributed 9.6% to the variability of learning results (R2 = 0.096). The results cannot be considered statistically significant, even if the p value of 0.052 indicates a significant value (p0,05).
