The research in this thesis aims to find out how Student Centered Learning Strategies Help Students' Understanding of Islamic Religious Education Subjects on Tolerance Material at SMA Brawijaya Smart School Malang. The aim of this research is to measure how successful the student centered learning strategy is in the Islamic religious education learning process in helping students understanding of tolerance at SMA Brawijaya Smart School Malang. This research is qualitative research with a case study type of research conducted at SMA Brawijaya Smart School Malang. The data collection process was carried out using the observation method, interviews, which are data collection methods by conducting verbal question and answers with sources and documentation methods, namely searching for data regarding matters related to the research. Things that need to be considered as suggestions are how to take steps forward for SMA Brawijaya Smart School Malang while maintaining the harmonization of tolerance in the environment as well as strengthening the learning and materials provided by the school to help SMA Brawijaya Smart School Malang students be able to apply all the knowledge they have gained at school. Both in the chool environment and outside the school.Â
