PENANANAMAN IDEOLOGI MODERASI BERAGAMA DI LINGKUNGAN MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM UNISMA MELALUI ORGANISASI PERGERAKAN MAHASISWA MODERASI BERAGAMA DAN BELA NEGARA

Abstract

The notion of extremism and radicalism penetrates the world of education, Students of Public Universities (PTU) are more vulnerable to radical movements because of the perspective that tends to see religious problems with an excessive perspective or can be said to be extreme in religion, in the pillars of religious moderation it is revealed that religious moderation is a fair religion, also adaptive to local culture, many people appreciate very well the forum for moderation where Islamic Religious Education (PAI) students at Public Universities (PTU) can express and promote a moderate attitude in religion. The object of this research is Islamic Education students and lecturers at the Islamic University of Malang. This research is a qualitative research and descriptive case study research. The data collection technique used observation method with interview method. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the efforts of PAI in building students' religious moderation through understanding the methodology of Islamic teachings, the substance of the PAI curriculum is directed at moderate character, the example and attitude of PAI lecturers, the existence of discussion rooms, national seminar programmes, mentoring and coaching student activity units, and evaluation.
