IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM MERDEKA DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PAI SMA NEGERI 2 MALANG

Abstract


The Merdeka Curriculum in PAI learning is expected to improve students' critical thinking skills in understanding and practicing Islamic teachings in everyday life. The aim of this research is to describe how the planning, implementation and results of implementing the independent curriculum in developing students' critical thinking skills in PAI subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Malang. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results found in this research indicate that independent curriculum planning for PAI lessons at SMA Negeri 2 Malang is preparing learning tools, including: Analyzing Learning Achievements, developing a Flow of Learning Objectives, and Developing teaching modules. Meanwhile, the implementation includes three stages, namely preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities. The implementation of the independent curriculum in Islamic Education and Character subjects in class X shows positive results in developing students' critical thinking skills. An independent curriculum that uses methods or approaches that provide real examples or facts that occur through life problems that are linked to learning material can provide students with opportunities to hone their critical reasoning skills. Keyword : Kurikulum Merdeka, Critical Thinking, PAI
