STRATEGI GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MENANAMKAN KARAKTER TOLERANSI PADA PESERTA DIDIK SMP NEGERI 1 DAU MALANG

Abstract

The aim of this investigation is to examine how Islamic religious education teachers cultivate students' tolerance. In education, the character of tolerance is an important aspect that must be developed. A case study approach is used in this research. In-depth interviews with teachers and documentation were used to collect data. Instilling tolerance in students is a strategy that PAI teachers employ, based on the research findings, through providing examples, consistent good habits, good behavior habits, and engaging in fun and engaging learning techniques. Teachers are also important in providing guidance and motivation to students. This investigation reveals that the tactics employed by PAI teachers are effective in instilling a spirit of tolerance in students, but they require the backing of the school community and family members to achieve optimal outcomes. It is believed that these findings can contribute to the progress of teachers who excel in building student character in schools.
