Teachers' abilities are one of the factors that affect the achievement of learning and educational goals in schools. Teachers play a role in shaping the character of students at school. In the implementation of student character formation, learning experiences and learning processes are developed with the aim of shaping students' individual characters. MTs Raudlatul Ulum Karangploso is one of the schools in Malang Regency that is interesting to be researched in this context. PAI teachers at this school instill the character of love for the homeland through the implementation of taklim duha prayers in congregation before learning begins and after KBM activities end. This study aims to investigate and describe the role of Islamic religious education teachers in instilling the character of love for the homeland in MTs Raudlatul Ulum Karangploso which includes 1) Planning, 2) Implementation, and 3) Results. Through qualitative methods and types of case studies, this research will be explained descriptively. The results of this study show that the role of PAI teachers at MTs Raudlatul Ulum in instilling the character of love for the homeland is very good. In planning, it is in the form of habituation of worship before starting to study. The implementation is in the form of a flag ceremony on Monday and requires students to participate in scout extracurricular activities. Fostering the character of love for the homeland with ASWAJA learning, Aswaja learning with local content. Then, in the results of the Impact when students are used to applying the character of love for the homeland, it also has an impact on teachers and students.
