OPTIMALISASI SISTEM PENDIDIKAN PONDOK PESANTREN DALAM MENINGKATKAN ADAB SANTRI SMA AR ROHMAH PUTRI IIBS MALANG
Abstract
This study aims to examine the optimization of the pesantren education system in improving student manners. Manners are an important aspect that a student must have even occupying the first position before gaining knowledge, and is expected to be the leader of Muslims in heading towards the pleasure of Allah, this research uses a qualitative type method with a case study approach in one of the Islamic boarding schools. Data was collected through observation, detailed interviews with several informants, and also through documentation. The results of the study show that pesantren use strategies to improve students' manners through habituation of manners, providing examples or examples and applying discipline, besides that the role of teachers in providing advice or motivation to students is also very important. This study concludes that the strategy applied by the pesantren is effective in improving the manners of students, but it needs support from the environment and parents to achieve optimal results. It is believed that this discovery can contribute to progress in improving the manners of students in Islamic boarding schools.
