The progress of civilization that has reached the front of mankind today, requires the superiority of human resources who are superior in achieving progress. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is one of them. In line with that, Islam views education as the most important thing for every student. In the world of education, achievement motivation is very important, several factors that affect achievement motivation are self-regulation and self-confidance. Students with strong self-regulated skills are more likely to participate in learning activities and, as a result, achieve academic success. Students who have confidence will feel important, able to navigate decisions in life, able to weigh their choices, and able to make their own decisions. Confident students are able to complete tasks that are appropriate to their growth stage. Therefore, the Influence of Self Regulation and Self Confidence on Achievement Motivation is important to be researched. This research focuses on PAI Learning in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Baureno. So the purpose of this study is to find out and describe the influence of self-regulation and self-confidence on PAI Learning in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Baureno. Through a quantitative approach with a correlational type, this study found that there was a significant influence between Self-Regulated (X1) and Student Achievement Motivation. This is indicated by a significance value of 0.001, which is much smaller than the error rate of 0.5% or 5%. Then there is a significant influence of Self Confidence (X2) on Achievement Motivation. This is indicated by a significance value of 0.004, which is smaller than the error rate of 5% or 0.5. Finally, there is a significant influence of the two dependent variables, namely Self-Regulated (X1) and Self Confidence (X2), on Achievement Motivation (Y).
