This research is based on observations made at SMK Negeri 3 Malang which shows the diversity of students' backgrounds and dynamic peer interaction patterns. Peer interaction between students is well established, both in the context of learning and outside the classroom. However, the impact of these interactions on learning motivation, especially in Islamic Religious Education subjects, varies. This study aims to determine the influence of peer interaction on the motivation to learn Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMK Negeri 3 Malang. This research is quantitative research using a questionnaire. The population includes class XI of SMK Negeri 3 Malang as many as 509 students. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with a sample size of 40 students. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The data analysis techniques for the instrument test are validity test and reliability test, hypothesis test using product moment correlation test with the help of IBM SPSS Statistic.20 program. The results of the study showed that: 1) the level of peer interaction of grade XI students at SMK Negeri 3 Malang was very high, with a percentage of 91% of students (64% agreed and 27% strongly agreed). ; 2) The level of learning motivation of grade XI students at SMK Negeri 3 Malang from 40 students is very high, with a percentage of 81% of students (55% agree and 26% strongly agree). ; 3) There was no effect of peer interaction on learning motivation in the subject of Islamic Religious Education for grade XI students at SMK Negeri 3 Malang, because the results of the correlation test showed that the Pearson correlation value was -0.080. A negative Pearson correlation value indicates an inverse relationship between the two variables, even though the relationship is weak.
