Abstract

This study was driven by issues related to students' challenges in reading the Al-Qur'an, primarily due to a lack of motivation and parental support. Observers noted that these challenges led to difficulties in reading the Qur'an, which include students' lack of awareness and inadequate motivation and encouragement from their parents. The research aims to identify the issues faced by students struggling with reading the Al-Qur'an at SMAN 2 Sape, Kabupaten Bima. To address these challenges, Islamic religious education teachers implement Tahfidzul Qur'an activities to enhance students' Al-Qur'an reading abilities.The research employed a qualitative method to explore and understand the central phenomenon. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The analysis involved collecting, condensing, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions. The findings were derived from these observations, interviews, and documentation.
