PENGARUH MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK

Abstract

Three learning methods, namely the discovery learning method, project-based learning, and problem-based learning are integrated into the 2013 curriculum.One of the methods used is the discovery learning method. The aim of thisresearch is to determine the learning activities of class 8 students in the AqidahMorals subject at MTs Sunan Bonang Sarang and to obtain data about themagnitude of the impact of discovery learning methods on the learning activitiesof class VIIII students in the Aqidah Akhlaq subject at MTs Sunan BonangSarang. The research was carried out in class VIII MTs Sunan Bonang Sarang.The research carried out was experimental in nature involving the use of Pre-Experimental Design using a One-Group Pretest Posttest Design. In thisresearch, the samples were all 25 students in class VIII. The method forcollecting data is based on observation, tests and interviews. Analyzing datathrough normality, homogeneity, paired sample t-test and effectiveness tests. The results of the research that has been carried out are that there is an important impact of applying discovery learning methods on the learningactivities of class VIII students at Mts Sunan Bonang Sarang. In the output tablethere is a mean paired difference value of 0.244000. This figure shows thedifference in averages before the discovery learning method was used and afterthe discovery learning method was used based on the output table of meanpaired samples statistics. Apart from comparing the sig (2-tailed) valueswith a probability level of 0.05, this can be done by comparing the t table values and the calculated t values. The results of the paired sample t-testoutput table show a calculated t value of 15.883, which if compared with the ttable value and the value is 15.362. It can be concluded that t count > t table,which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so that the application ofthe discovery learning method to the active learning of class VIII students at MTs Sunan Bonang Sarang has a real effect.
