STRATEGI GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER DISIPLIN SISWA MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH DARUN NAJAH KARANGPLOSO MALANG
Abstract
This research aims to examine the strategies of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in forming students' disciplined character. Disciplinary character is an important aspect that must be developed in education, especially in religious education which emphasizes morals and ethics. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach in one of the junior high schools in City X. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews with PAI teachers, and documentation. The research results show that PAI teachers use various strategies to shape students' disciplined character, including through providing role models, consistent application of rules and sanctions, habituation to good behavior, and the use of interactive and fun learning methods. Apart from that, the role of teachers in providing guidance and motivation to students is also very important. This research concludes that the strategies implemented by PAI teachers are effective in shaping students' disciplined character, but there needs to be support from the school environment and parents to achieve optimal results. It is trusted that these discoveries can contribute to the advancement of superior instructive hones in building understudy character in schools.
