PENGUATAN SIKAP PATRIOTISME PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM

Abstract


Patriotism is an attitude that always loves or defends the homeland, where a person is willing to sacrifice everything, including his soul, for the progress, glory and prosperity of the homeland. Instilling an attitude of love for the country is crucial, particularly for the younger generation such as students at SMA Negeri 4 Malang. However, research shows a decline in patriotism among some students. Therefore, Islamic Religious Education Teachers have a big responsibility in strengthening an attitude of patriotism in students. This study adopts a qualitative approach and employs a case study methodology, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of the study indicate that the school has made efforts to re-instill an attitude of patriotism through learning Islamic Religious Education, with the aim of strengthening the feeling of love for the country among students, as part of the nation's young generation.
