STRATEGI GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MENINGKATKAN SIKAP TOLERANSI BERAGAMA SISWA DI SMP NEGERI 9 MALANG
Abstract
This study aims to understand the strategy of PAI teachers in fostering religious tolerance of students in SMP Negeri 9 Malang, considering the importance of tolerance education in creating a conducive and safe learning environment. Through this research, it is hoped that we can better understand how tolerance education in this school and how PAI teachers play a role in improving students' religious tolerance attitudes. This research is a qualitative research and a type of case study research with a research place at SMP Negeri 9 Malang. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview, and documentation methods. Based on research conducted by researchers on "Islamic Religious Education Teacher Strategies in Increasing Student Religious Tolerance Attitudes at SMP Negeri 9 Malang" the following conclusions can be drawn: 1) The attitude of religious tolerance in SMP Negeri 9 Malang is very strong; 2) The efforts of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in increasing religious tolerance towards students at SMP Negeri 9 Malang, Islamic Religious Education Teachers seek actions such as teaching through religious education; 3) The supporting factors faced by Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving student tolerance in SMP Negeri 9 Malang are cooperation between parents and teachers, support and motivation from the principal, cooperation between PAI teachers and other teachers, and supporting facilities and infrastructure.Â
